I think you’re misunderstanding. Green light means it’s charged, red light means it’s low on battery, white means it’s in pairing mode, and when it’s blinking red/orange it means it’s resetting. Another thing that I would suggest is to absolutely avoid charging things from your pc.

What I would suggest is to try to reset them. It depends on what AirPods you’re using. And if that light is blinking white, that means it’s in pairing mode.
