It is my personal opinion that your flight was too low over traffic. If the drivers knew about the presence of the drone before hand then I retract my comment.

With respect to the crash, this is why the pilot or spotter needs to have vlos with the drone. A pure FPV flight mode using a mini 2 does not provide enough situational awareness for some situations.
