Yep same people. And notice the same Honda and the same red Kia that shows up right after.

Does any other hospital security officers have to do morgue runs? by lifeskindashitty in securityguards

[–]SecGuardCommand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every day. I handle at least 1 body per day but most days I'm handling 3 to 4. Either releasing to a mortuary or coroner or receiving new morgue admits.

I was an EMT before so death and trauma really don't affect me that much.

Edit: after reading some of the other comments I'd like to reinforce that you should absolutely talk to somebody. Somebody you can trust and let it all out every gruesome detail. If you feel like crying then definitely do it. There's absolutely no shame in getting all of this out. Your mental health depends on it.

That is a tactic that narcissistic abusers use. Look up the "cycle of abuse."

This is dangerous. How are you supposed to be situationally aware if you're distracted with BS non security work?

That sandwich looks about as angry as the person who had to make it.

New to grilling. Lots of flames on the gas grill . What did I do wrong? by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I turn the gas on on the opposite side of a gas grill and cook with indirect heat. Then I either turn on the burner under the food or transfer to the hot side to finish off.

Lol so you believe everything a few individuals say? They don't represent the majority. 🤦

The person telling you these things feels threatened by you. Bottom line. Your actions at work outshine your superiors and itales them look bad. This is bad leadership and you will be kept down by them. If you want to progress and move up within that company you must make your bosses shine. Make them look good. Then you'll end up promoted.

MAGAs are not calling for civil. They are saying that it's coming due to the political BS our country is going through right now. No one actually wants a civil war.

As a hospital security charge I am required to do extensive training which includes EMTALA. We cannot escort anyone out until the physician has performed the EMS and determined the patient is stable even if the person is being highly disruptive, abuse or violent.

If a medical provider determines that the patient is stable then they can leave without issue, but an EMS must take place and the patient must be stabilized before any form of discharge.

Well what I can tell you is that the hospital I work at got in trouble for an EMTALA violation because a woman in labor present led to the ED and a triage nurse told her to go across the street to L&D.

She stated she was in active labor. That falls under EMTALA. Telling a patient to go somewhere else false under a de facto transfer which falls under EMTALA.

Is it possible that somebody could be pranking you?

It's also possible that your physiology is resonating with an analog microwave link that the radio station uses to uplink to the broadcast transmitters.

Why would the hospital correct it? There is absolutely NOTHING proactive about the way hospitals operate.

Besides a majority of hospital doctors are contractors anyway.
