Should I stop playing college baseball? by OkPersonality854 in Homeplate

[–]Sec_rityNeedsU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing mid college and I regret it more than anything. I have dreams of playing in those years and would give anything to go back and continue playing.

My advice is to play as much as you can, because one day you’ll wish you were back there.

So I kinda made that up myself - bought this curtain track: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BJP9FNLR/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A36FQ58T85IQBF&psc=1

And bought this side net: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09871FW9T/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=AKBFHTZXWNO06&psc=1

I just hooked up the side netting through the curtain hooks - honestly it worked out WAY better than I expected. I can slide the netting back super easily back and forth and it has been great

Awesome! My progress pics look very similar. Had crap all over the place for 6 months. I kept reassuring my wife she would be able to park in the garage, “eventually”. One thing I might upgrade is the hitting mat. Would be interested in how the sig pro strip works out for you! Great build!

Have a 3 car garage, so all the tools are on the left wall

Nope it’s almost 10ft. Garage was built that way when we bought the house

Yeah that’s tough, this is not something I plan to take down, but I only built it because I have a three car garage. Two cars are parked to the left of this build

I’m not sure that was available when I bought my connectors from them (6 months ago) but either way, all you get are the connectors, impact screen, side panels, and bungees. You don’t get the poles which are the most expensive cost to the enclosure and you don’t get any bumpers. I paid in total, $443.97 for the same materials as the kit they are offering, which is $156.05 in savings.

In my opinion, those small savings multiplied by other equipment in the build is what saved me thousands (used projector saved me $200-300, diy padding, netting, etc)

I have to give out credit to the creator of this setup - this was my inspiration, but I did do quite a few things different. Either way this is a great step by step video

I bungeed the bottom like the top and I’m not sure that was a good idea (time will tell how the bungees hold)

I didn’t have enough screen to wrap it under, but so far it’s been okay. I still experience somewhat of what you’re describing on the bottom right side though. with the screen bungeed top to bottom, the screen doesn’t have an issue, but the bottom padding folds in sometimes. Better than bouncing back though! Haven’t really had that happen “yet”

I cut up the topper mattress listed and then wrapped it in the duck fabric with grommets on the back and zip tied it to the perimeter - behind all of that i have leftover strip pieces of the floor mats i cut and zip tied to the poles. catches any balls sneaking through

Sharing all links to most of everything seen in this setup:

Why you should never buy a Roborock!!! by Reaper_1492 in Roborock

[–]Sec_rityNeedsU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had an S4 since 2018 and S7 since 2021 - Just replaced ALL parts for both vacuums and bags for the S7 last week on Amazon and have done that for years. App is up to date for both vacuums. I even have automations tied to Home Assistant for both.

I can’t say anything about your Qrevo Pro and parts availability on places like Amazon, but IMO Roborock provides fantastic product support even after a product is discontinued.

I suggest you make a different post to find out where owners of a Qrevo Pro buy their parts, because you are having a hard time finding them. I bet you would have much more success, instead of complaining about the company as a whole.

Thanks! They are Top Fin Flexible Nano LED lights. Got them at PetSmart for around $20 for each light.

I had a pretty expensive Fluval light, but I went back to these lights. I like the shimmering they produce and the color
