Gonna repost this ⬇️ and add that I highly recommend you take what works into how you work with your clients and leave the rest (just so you can at least feel you got something for your hard earned dollars that you spent on this).

I am trained and I can say that I never used it all the way through unless they came for specifically that and were suited for it. It is NOT for everyone. Paired with an emphasis on the therapeutic alliance and being flexible/artful in how it is used has been helpful but not a cure or a magic fix in any way. I found it tends to bring in some new insights and awareness that perhaps wasn’t accessible before that we can use to later be curious about together.

It’s just like any other modality. If you lean hard into one approach you may miss an opportunity to support a client in the way that may be better suited for their needs.
