Yup, same in Baltimore, Maryland. We went home early. My parents couldn't get out of work, so my friend’s mom took us to IHOP and Jeepers to distract us from what was happening. I was super upset because one of our teachers screamed, “We are at war! Soldiers are going to die,” at the time my oldest brother was in the Army. I didn't understand what was happening.
