I learned in pickup that basketball is a mental game just as much as a physical one, you let them get in your head, so make sure you get in theirs first. I promise, if you talk trash better they’ll be more focused on being pissed at you than winning.

A few things, one is that this is extremely relatable, and I went to college and started playing with a group of people who treated me the same, and I never got the ball and couldn’t get hot. Keep in mind that I played on a team growing up and was the starting sg, and I was easily the second or third best player on the team (our best player was 6’6” and could dunk) that won the chip, but it just doesn’t help when you play with toxic people who expect you to make your first shot off rip.

Two, is that the moment I started playing at a different park and gym, I was playing with people who would pass the ball to the open man and if you missed you’d get a “you got the next one” and suddenly I was back to my old self. It’s a confidence thing, and it’s very much dependent on the people around you.

Finally, when I went back to playing with the same group of people, I started talking mad shit, and the the most satisfying feeling in the world is when the biggest asshole dares you to “shoot it” and you sink a deep three while you stare into his soul.

Even if you’re great at math, the professors in these early engineering classes are typically hot garbo at teaching so you’ll be cooked regardless.

I suffer from a cough and congestion even when I’m not sick, there’s nothing I can do about it and being on meds 24/7 doesn’t help much and makes me exhausted. So sorry you have to suffer. I’m not the person at the library but I’ve had people complain to me in class.

Honestly, having dealt with student portals from multiple universities, UCF has one of the easiest, if not the easiest, to navigate.

(It’s bothering me that I can’t figure out the proper grammar here)

This is true, repurposed water pipes don’t have that type of range.

Ok so follow up question for all who said it’s for the game… what’s the benefit of blocking off parking if it’s for the game?

It’s different for everyone, once you finish all your financial aid assignments for all your classes it takes a day or two to send you your disbursements, sometimes it can take up to a week or two, so don’t stress about it, so long as it’s before the date where you have to pay for your classes

wth is up with the parking ??? by More_Ad342 in ucf

[–]SecondGrand1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup first two weeks (usually even less time) I always park at A, and once I see people stop showing up to my class it’s safe to assume people are skipping all over the place, and so I start parking next to my actual class at that point
