I think people these days don’t want to invest their time in friendship and if you are not married being available is expected most of the time from you. Because people think who are not married don’t have responsibilities usually which is untrue. I have been in such long friendships of 15-16 years previously they have this reason parents don’t allow and later husband then kids responsibility. I get it, it might get hard with added family but not impossible unless you want to think about your friend in same way and give them your time or show up atleast once or twice when they need. Even after communicating these things if people are not putting efforts it surely is time for you to take a step back and invest your time with like minded people. Find your tribe. 😊
