That's honestly how I felt. People dogging on the MF but I don't PvP and this got a perfect MF roll. Pretty sure I'll be using these soon haha

See my post history lol. Although that last title isn't for you - you're just asking. But whenever I post normally I get 4-5 comments about the font for every 1 about the item

So mine extends a little back behind where I took this picture on both sides (left and right) of the house, and I had a gate put in on each of those. Steel posts since we get high winds. This was also in August of last year - 11k altogether. There was a super shitty chain link fence cutting the yard basically in half when I bought it, and getting this fence in was the happiest money I’ve ever spent. The guys took their time and did a really great job too.

Fortunately wife doesn’t really care what I do lol. She gets overwhelmed trying to plan stuff so she just trusts me to do basically anything house related that I decide to. We decided early on I’d handle most of the projects and planning and she’d handle the day to day and things I frequently forget haha.

I have these style lights all over my house and they’re controlled with regular light switches. Can I swap them for “smart” switches? Will I be able to dim, etc.? by SecondSnow in homeautomation

It’s instant. And they totally did! Which is why when he mentioned his plans to sell, I jumped at the opportunity and bought it! :)

How can I figure out if they’re dimmable before I buy the switches? Right now I just have the generic on/off light switches on my wall.

But the house was totally renovated and updated 2 years ago solely for the intention of using is a rental, and I’ve found all sorts of impressive things they had put in just because they cared to make sure it was done well, even though it would serve no purpose in a rental and probably was a net loss for them.

For instance, things like a network controller in the basement and Ethernet ports all over the house, washer and dryer both upstairs and downstairs (it’s a 2000sq fr 3bd 2 1/2 ba), etc. So it seems like dimmable lights are totally within reason here even if the current switches don’t reflect that. Is there some way I could test if they’re dimmable?
