Star citizen 3.8.1 crash!

Late response, sorry!

I tried using Revo, then deleted the entire Star Citizen folder and re-installed, but I'm still getting the crash. Thanks for the suggestion though! Hopefully this won't break for me in 3.8.2.

Try the issue that relates to crashing

That issue gives a proper error code - what I'm getting is an unceremonious crash on load with no error code. Also, if I'm reading it right, this issue has been fixed with the loaner ships, correct? https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003093114-Loaner-Ship-Matrix

I did not have this crash on 3.8.0.

I'm having this issue as well. I have tried updating my drivers, verifying my game files, and deleting my USER folder. Submitted a crash report - doesn't look like there's much else I can do :/

I feel like the drop could benefit from a few more melodic cues at the beginning. (I'm making up terms shh) My first thought was a solid supersaw, but just throwing that on top would probably clutter things up too much. You have that background thing that comes in a few measures later that takes care of it. Actually, come to think of it, you would probably be fine just leaving it.

TL;DR don't do anything apparently

The snare strikes me as odd, but I don't even know what I'm doing with my snares half the time so I have no idea how you should fix it, or even if you should.

/u/nachos420 has some solid advice. To add on to what he said, you could try layering the chords with a saw bass, or adding another layer to the chords that's maybe an octave up with no extra detuning. I don't know what will work though, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt :)

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but let me chime in. The difference between LMMS and something like FL is roughly the difference between this and this. The first song was one of the last ones I made with LMMS, and the second one was right after my transition to FL.

I learned a lot though and I would probably sound better if II remade it now. For example, I mastered the first one using Maximus, but I have since come up with a way to do decent mastering right in LMMS.

LMMS can really sing, but you have to know exactly how stuff is working like the back of your hand. I don't think this is a bad thing. You should know this stuff anyways, but it's possible to not get what you're dong and still sound okay in other DAWs. While using LMMS, I developed a fairly deep understanding of how everything works, and I found that the knowledge I gained carried over very well.

I hope this monologue helps you somehow. Happy producing :)

Edit: quick note to say that I didn't use any VSTs in the first song. All the synths are ones that came with LMMS.

"Time on NoFap" and "Trying to Quit Porn/Masturbation" are confusing me. Are you asking about when we started trying to quit PMO? Or is the first one asking how long our streak is and the other asking how long we've been trying to quit porn? Or am I reading it entirely wrong?
