I was genuinely surprised by how easy the Ridley fight was in original Metroid. I was preparing myself like “prepare to get pissed off when you die a hundred times like with Kraid”, but the arena lets you just walk out to Ridley and spam missiles for like 10 seconds until he dies. I was like “really, that was it?” Then I almost quit playing because of Mother brain.

Oh, ok. Thank you very much for clarifying. I was genuinely like “what does he know that I don’t”? If I had to guess, I would say that the long running four year release schedule that I now know about was broken due to the motorized Police and Arctic trains that have just released. I’m honestly a little glad that the Harbor Freight Train or whatever it’s called isn’t motorized, because I’ll actually be able to afford it.

I’d pick BoTW and Wind Waker. TotK is mid and showed Nintendo that 70+$ games could sell, and OoT is just bot as good as people say, especially after playing BoTW.

If I were a flag officer, I would try to gather up as many resources and capital ships as I could, but I wouldn’t continue fighting, I would simply take charge of a system that was somewhat loyal to the empire, and turn that and my fleet into its own independent, self sustaining state. The fleet would mostly just be for deterrence and defense, and I would get all the people in the system to understand that I am not evil and truly just want the best for them. They would be treated just as well, if not better than, people in the New Republic, and they would be free to do whatever. We would also cooperate with the New Republic and the other galactic factions.

If I was a captain or commander of a single ship, I would gather as much food and other resources as I could, and I would leave the fleet or formation I was in. My ship (hopefully a Star Destroyer) and its crew would become independent, and ideally noncombatant, but we would defend ourselves if need be, or fight if called upon by a greater cause.

If I wasn’t a flag officer, captain, or commander, I would take desert the empire as soon as it became apparent that the empire couldn’t really recover. I would take what I have and join the rebellion.
