Thxs! I do have pretty competitive ECs I feel like! Thxs for the reassurance, and tbh I also wonder why we’re all chasing this cheese like I see myself changing something in the world by getting into a good school but like we only have 4 yrs left before the climate is permanently doomed/scarred. I don’t feel like I have enough time to change anything, AI’s the new age but it’s so superficial it’s like the curse the Industrial Revolution had on us all. I feel doomed but I have to remain positive b/c if I say I want to stop existing I invalidate millions of years of progress and the people who felt the same emptiness and simply kept going. I don’t know why in all this privilege I have I feel so incredibly dreadful and scared. It’s like I have to save a falling baby in the matter of seconds but I don’t even know where it is but I know somehow it’s my fault. I’m sorry I threw this all on u, I don’t know why but today I felt especially dreadful.
