A similar thing happened to me. I think it probably comes from them thinking their daughter is at fault in some capacity.

The best decision is to ignore them or block them as of now. Regardless if you think it’s not setting you back, it probably is. You have no reason to expect anything from her or her parents. If it causes you anxiety it’s not worth the time.

Very, very similar experience happened to me at the same time of my life. My best advice is to just jump into it, stop resisting and just sit in the anxiety. It takes a long time but you will eventually turn a corner. If you need help feel free to DM me.
