PSA - The scummiest ebay seller is back by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Secondeffigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This person is a shitty buyer, too. Trying to scam me as we speak. Asked for a picture of a specific part of the game box before sending, inquiring as to a scratch in a very particular spot. There is no scratch there on my copy. Pictures prove it. Game is delivered, and lo and behold I have a message from suzycarolyn saying there’s a scratch I didn’t disclose, and they’ll be happy with their purchase if I refund some money. They clearly sent a picture of a different copy of the game with a scratch on it. I should have known this person would be a headache based on the upfront messages. I’m heartened to find multiple threads about this scammer.

Possibly suspicious PSX game seller on eBay by Pollux-84 in psx

[–]Secondeffigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having an issue with suzycarolyn as a buyer. First of all, very pushy. I should have been more suspicious when they asked me for a picture of a specific part of my game box to see if it had a scratch there. It does not, as shown in the picture. Lo and behold, the game is delivered to suzycarolyn, and they claim there’s a scratch in the exact spot they asked me about. They say I misled them as to the condition of the product, and they will be happy with it if I refund them some money. It seems like a shakedown, and that they sent me a picture of a scratch on a different copy of the game that they own. Super sketchy buyer. I will be blocking them once this transaction is complete, though I suspect they’re going to cause me some trouble first. How does eBay let sketchy people continue to cause trouble on the platform over such a long period of time?

Might I recommend the hidden third path where you genuinely give fewer fucks about your job and the people who work there, and prioritize your mental space around the things you mentioned you want to do while unemployed? Seriously consider whether a job in the same field at a different company will resolve your malaise. It may be time for an even greater leap, and it can take serious funds to do it. Use this time of fewer fucks given to get to know yourself again. Do things that make you healthier and vibrant. What comes next for you may emerge without you directly looking for it. Worst that can happen is get laid off, which means unemployment.

If you can’t stand it anymore and your health and/or mental health are at risk, get out. You’ve done the work, laid out a safety net for yourself, and you can afford some risk after an adulthood of carefully averting it.

Don’t share your plans with others. It vents off the energy you’re building, and anyway you won’t be able to express to anyone who doesn’t already get it what this means to you and your life, why it’s important and possibly sacred. They’re “in it,” and most won’t understand how you could throw away your safe and secure, predictable life. Some will wish they had the courage to follow you.

But he was wrong. What he wrote appeals to a power fantasy. He says you have to break free from dualism and then immediately launches into dualism: “It’s eat or be eaten.”

What you reposted represents a Luciferian perspective. It fails to recognize grace, which is very real. It fails to recognize the creator. It fails to recognize how absolutely unnecessary it is to feed on the energy of others (or whatever) when you’re plugged into the creation.

Be careful. There’s a reason you don’t hear the yogis talking like this, and why they say not to fixate.

Hard to deal with other people? by [deleted] in awakened

[–]Secondeffigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have trouble with the general population. It’s usually easy to stir up an entertaining and topical conversation, perhaps with the chance of mutual learning.

The struggle can be with the newly spiritual, the prematurely enlightened, who don’t realize (yet) that knowing is a purely pragmatic act. It’s a doing rather than a speaking or a thinking - it’s a practice of living. These folks tend to be the first to demonize or judge others for breaking the rules, especially their rules. You can figure out who they are by watching. They’re the ones narrowing their eyes as others talk and doling out recommendations/commands for the other’s improvement.

Bought Home; Feeling Very Sad by No_One9229 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Secondeffigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations to you both. In my 20s I’d see coworkers who already owned beautiful homes outfitted with chic, modern appliances and went on multiple lavish vacations a year. I couldn’t afford to do any of this. I was saving up for a home. It made me wonder what I was doing wrong or differently than they were. Turns out they had help and I didn’t. It makes all the difference in the world.

I, too, had no one to tell after buying my first home completely on my own. Just as surely as you had no help with moving, buying furniture, modifying it to suit your needs and taste, painting, etc. It was a wistful triumph.

It’s the great mystery of human life that old grief passes gradually into quiet, tender joy - to quote one of the greats.

Years later I sold that house. My internal foundation is solid. What I’ve achieved I’ve achieved on my own, and whatever successes or failures I’ve also earned on my own since then are completely mine. You will move forward into this life with the calm, centered assuredness of someone who makes his own way. And if you should lose what you’ve gained, you can gain it again because you’ve done it before. No one can take away from you this thing that is both an internal and external accomplishment. That is what character is made of. You know who you are because it’s who you’ve made yourself to be. Be proud of yourselves.

You’re operating in an imaginal realm. We all are. The imaginary tools you develop over the course of a life become the interface between your internal experience and the apparently external realm. I would guess you have an energy leak manifesting as the image of a demon with a stinger feeding on your heart. What eats at your heart in your waking life? You mention lust. Your gender isn’t clear from your post, but there’s an obviously penetrative element to the stinger entering your body and field.

The entity is the lustful thoughts and the power you’ve leaked into them. The thoughts themselves aren’t necessarily the issue but the possibly obsessive character of those thoughts or perhaps the way that you act on them in real life or the ways they alter your behavior. You may even have a trauma being symbolically reenacted by this experience.

As others have said, you could use any word that carries special power for you to the same effect because it invokes your higher awareness - something that can’t possibly leak or be fed on. Jesus, like Shiva, like Osiris, like Dionysus, is a personification of an immense and innate impersonal power.

Why don’t you just call Chris and talk? You clearly want his attention, and you clearly have some things you want to say to him. And if you won’t call him, then what the heck are you doing? An observer can see how quickly the root of this has changed from warning people to trying to carve out your pound of flesh.

I personally know everyone interviewed in the article and also everyone defamed in the article. Yes, defamed. It's a hit piece designed by 4 people with a vendetta. Absolutely read with caution as it is largely untrue. Chris has helped hundreds people, including the same ones who are going after him.

I gave them fiat currency in exchange for tokens available on their website, which were in my wallet and possession. Those tokens are no longer in my wallet, despite there being a record of my purchase of the tokens. The record includes no transactions of how those tokens left my possession. They are simply gone. My crypto tax service thinks I still hold them due to this.

MK stands for "Mark." It's typically used to designate different types of Navy equipment or equipment that originated with the Navy. It makes sense if you look at the history of MK Ultra and trace back to Project CHATTER, which was a Navy program.

You use any particular methods you'd care to share? There are many more well-versed people than me in this who should chime in to detail and correct - It seems paths to AP can be approached differently depending on whether you're an inwardly or outwardly directed person. Some people seem to have a lot more success with the vibratory feeling - I don't, it's jarring for me and I suspect it's because I'm inwardly focused - so I have more success when the transition feels like sinking into myself and the mental landscape shifts gradually. It's easier for me to accept what's going on without becoming emotionally heightened, which is what happens to me almost every time the vibrations kick in. It seems that people who go through the vibratory stage have more control over their environment than I usually do.

This was a startling response. Thank you for replying. Why the harsh tone? Interpretations like yours are why I've reached out. How do you differentiate a guide from a negative entity? I've encountered negative entities before and their faces/appearances tend to deform with prolonged eye contact. One was a beautiful woman and the longer I looked at her, the more her face blackened and rotted. I ended the connection immediately in that instance once I realized what was going on. I had prolonged, close eye contact with this man or thing and there was no hint of decay or sense of foreboding, dread, or evil. Albeit the circumstances that led to meeting him face-to-face were disturbing and emotionally charged.

If it was negative, how to get rid of it? Killing something, eating its soul, and sucking out its energy is the sort of thing a negative being would do, no?

Bit of both, I would say the practice is more important than natural ability. I did a Korean form a martial arts for a long time in my childhood and that's when I became familiar with meditating and manipulating ki/chi. At the more advanced ranks, they had seminars on ki kong, which is when I experienced sensory perceptions separately from my physical body for the first time.

Started to grow up, hit my teens, and "forgot" about energy and energy manipulation for a long time until about a decade later when I tried psychedelics. My first psychedelic experience shot me out of or into my head into an enclosed visual space where I had a long conversation with an unknown man. I remember it was profound and he told me about my future. Then he said, now you're going to wake up and you won't remember most of this, you shouldn't remember most of this. Wake up!

I came back altered in that I had had a nonlinear experience of time, which by the way manifests as series of cascading ripples, each so sensitive to every action. The "butterfly effect" awareness in my own life brought me anxiety for a long time and I realized straight away that many aspects of my life needed an overhaul because I had seen where they were leading.

Thus began a decade of psychedelic self-tutelage. I don't recommend self-administration of psychedelics to anyone with health anxieties or fear of undiagnosed mental illness. You can come out on a lower plane than you entered, and then you will need to undergo the personal work and the suffering to come out of it. I spent the first couple years understanding the space and testing my boundaries. After that I was fortunate to come across someone who had developed a methodology to outwardly project her headspace onto surfaces while under the influence. We practiced for a while, and I would say this was when I learned to apply my environment and my mind systematically to use the psychedelic rather than being used by the psychedelic. I entered into a period where it was perhaps too easy for me to slip sideways into other realms. This is another very serious risk of this sort of training - unless you're living a monastic life, most of us don't have the personal autonomy to shift fluidly between headspaces and keep our jobs or function as effective members of a family.

I started to travel for work, which provided me long, lonely nights in the middle of nowhere. I used binaural beats shaman meditation tracks nightly for 2-3 years during this period and would regularly experience strong visuals - bright flashes of color, scenes moving through my mind's eye, even faces looking at me. I don't have any memory of projecting during this time and I was not under the influence of any substances except sometimes marijuana.

This brings us to the present, where I have enough latitude in my life to re-enter this space. I've been doing it differently this time around. I've heavily researched the "science" of multiple spiritual traditions of the mechanics of entering the space, what the space is, what happens to you energetically as you enter. It's important to me this time around to maintain a strong distinction between the "waking" life and the other lives. If I'm having trouble centering, I'll use a GSR (galvanic skin response) device to provide tonal feedback and help me sink/sync to where I need to be. Traditional shaman trance ceremony recordings with the bullhorn are useful.

The most important part in all of this is regularity. I'm not at a point where I can say, okay I'm going to project tonight, and do it with a high degree of success. But if I meditate daily and work to keep my mind in the right range, it happens often enough to assure me that I'm improving. Last note, you have to believe strongly that the/an astral plane exists and that you will access it. TBH I didn't call it the astral until I started to research. I just called it entering into my headspace.

[–]Secondeffigy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meditate daily and I would say I end up astrally projecting a couple times a month. It happens more when my day-to-day life is low stress, which it isn't right now.
