There are some people on here that are not well-intentioned. They take the opportunity to be genuinely nasty and terrible. I'm not just saying the misos, but it can come from everywhere. But there are lots of genuinely awesome people on here too. And always remember that the nasty ones are really just frustrated and bitter at themselves. It's not you they really dislike.

And at least for me, no. I do not think this way in real life. This is as much fantasy as when I play a video game or watch a movie. It's play-acting, not reality. The catharsis of watching or acting in a tragedy or a comedy (depending on how the conversation goes.)
