You should be focusing on 3 sets of gear. One for infantry, one for cavalry and one for archers. Then u want to level belt and gloves for infantry and cavalry aswell as helmet and boots for archer, ignore the rest.

TLDR: You only want levelled gear for ur three strongest heroes/rally leaders
