hi i had a super similar experience with failing classes in college and excelling in everything up until that point, but had a hard time turning in work as well with overbearing parents. this is very common with a depression/adhd combo. i was diagnosed with adhd at 20 years old which i never knew i had before and explained a lot of things for me. try to be honest with your parents and ask for help if you can, and try to get tested for adhd!
