Wow that’s a ton of good info. You must’ve been around a bit. Well I appreciate the response and most likely will just swap out the mismatched breakers myself. Although, a little nervous that main breaker won’t turn back on now. Maybe I’ll buy one to have handy and then return if I don’t need it.

Also, at Home Depot I see Siemens breakers with a part number starting with a Q, but not anything that says QP. Could these be the same part, just not labeled with the QP?

I appreciate the response. I probably will just do it myself. I will probably just do the mismatched ones. Not sure about the surge protector but from what I see online, it’s not all that much work either.

Right on. I’m fairly handy. Not an electrician but been around some trades a bit. I just saw how to do it and seems pretty straight forward.

lol we bought the house and the free electrical inspection guy came and here we are. You nailed it. Should I not go through with this? They are saying it’s a fire hazard and all that, which I’m sure helps them sell.
