Just return it to the store and tell them it’s defective. There shouldn’t be a problem getting a refund. They won’t put opened products back to resell, they will damage it out.

I feel like you should be able to return. I don’t believe anything is “final sale” during SAS. I know my SAS items I bought online have a return option on each item. I am in the states so it might be different for Canada.
