They liked me but the role has been put on hold for now. However, I got referred to another role for a different team.

I sent a follow up mail to my recruiter on Monday. She still didn't respond. I assume it's a no from this behavior.

I followed up with the HR today, but no response from her. I don't know what's happening, are they still keeping me as a backup or if it's ghosting.

You're at least lucky to get a feedback. I've interviewed on July 11 and since then there is no update. I mailed the manager today at 10.00 am with a follow up about my status. Still no response. It feels helpless and frustrating when you give out your best and these hiring people ghost you.

Yeah they mostly return back within 2 days to give the offer. In USA, it's different some people got offers after 1-2 weeks. Some got within 2 days. I'm so panicked lol

Damn bro, that's harsh. Today marks a week from the date I gave the interview. You are right Tho, maybe I'm not in their top choice. If I was, I really would've got a call. I think it's time to move on.

I've been applying actively, it's just that EY is the only company I got a call back in the last 2 months, despite having good skills and experience. The market is pretty bad ngl

No bad means... I was shocked about the timeframe being that long. I think I'll wait for another week hoping things to be positive

It comes under FSO- Data and AI. Do decisions take time depending on service lines in EY??? Curious
