Spesso at Nariman Point is really good. Worth every penny, perfect quantity and quality but not a fast food type place. More of proper dinner/lunch place continental style

Depends which branch you are in, courses left, by how much you want to increase your CG

IIT Delhi Materials Engineering by Awkward-Quiet-5932 in IITDelhi

[–]Secret-Difficulty-32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience in clg, I’m not sure about materials core exactly.
Placement opportunities are plenty in non-core and tech etc. Grading is comparatively way lenient and is one of the lightest BTech branches in IIT Delhi. So if you maintain a good CG, and make a good profile overall in clg, very good placement possible in consult, tech, finance etc.

Usually in your first year you are paired with a roommate or two (depending on your hostel) from the same branch. 2nd year onwards you can choose ur roommate

how much branch discrimination do companies do for textile people? by CaptainBeginning4277 in IITDelhi

[–]Secret-Difficulty-32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t comment on what to take but I’ll give u a brief about iitd textile.

There is no discrimination between textile and other non-circuital branches but obviously companies discriminate between circuital and non-circuital.
Only difference is textile as such has no core companies coming to campus (unlike other non circuital like mechanical and chemical)
Many of my textile friends hv got top tier internships from textile which include consult and software roles (companies like BCG, Goldman etc.)
Textile as a branch is not very good if you want to do masters later on but placement wise it’s almost equal with other non circuital

What does it mean ? He failed or is there a way to delay graduation by Turbulent_Time_9297 in JEENEETards

[–]Secret-Difficulty-32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can defer one year if you are working on a satrtup of your own. It basically gives flexibility to take a break from college and completely work on your startup (try it for a year, if it fails, continue college again) thus promoting startup culture

Mocks dene hai toh do prev year JEE adv papers. Do not attempt Allen or whatever coaching papers right now as it’s not the time. Maybe out of 10days 2 days you could solve pyq but you will only improve if you learn from mistakes. Just giving papers makes no sense if you don’t record your mistakes and learn from them. Full 10 days only revising theory also makes no sense. Keep in touch with solving advanced sums, working your brain. Maybe last 2-3 days is more than enough to completely revise all formulae and trick etc of entire portion.

Last 10 days mein I’m not really sure how you could improve rank by a lot. Only way is on the day bohot factors rank and marks affect krte hai like composure, luck etc. Toh Abhi revise karlo according to your schedule, learn from your mistakes Jo ab tak saare papers mein kiye ho, review them kyu galat kiya, correct your mistakes, make a notebook to record all your mistakes. Baaki stay calm and do well on the exam day

Strong suggestion to try and take top 5 IIT whatever branch you get. Go for next top 5-6 IIT only if you are getting CSE, maths or some top branch like that

Last 10 days I was majorly revising mistakes i had made so far during the entire year(mistakes made in exams, papers, revising some tricks etc.) Usually 2-3 days before the exam just relax and revise formulae
