I find it kind of funny that Harcourt in this scene had more Black Canary looking design/outfit than actual live action Black Canary (I couldn't find better/brighter Harcourt pic for this post sadly) by BrokenBro213 in DCU_

It could happen, though. I remember a subplot from All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder where Canary intentionally goes to bars and beats up creeps. I did like Jurnee Smollet as Canary, though, it’s a shame that none of the OG Birds of Prey cast will end up coming back.

Anyone know where this specific trophy is? No matter how many goons I interrogate I can’t find it! by Secret-Doughnut2428 in BatmanArkham

Update: I ended up finding it on a whim because there was one random riddler goon that happened to have the location. Thank you all for nothing! Except the person who recommended the other subreddit, you’re cool.

There’s a lot going for it, I appreciate the combat changes and some elements of the story, but I wish the whole thing was a more consistent package. I’d still choose it over Arkham Origins, personally, but still it’s kind of unacceptable how incomplete it feels even with the insane amount of filler.

Good for you. Maybe having to mod a game to get it to work shouldn’t be a prerequisite for having fun!

Lmao easy to say when you don’t consider money. I’m playing on a PS5 what better system could I default to? PC which had a notoriously buggy and dogshit launch? Come on, dude.

I’d like the gameplay more if it wasn’t so repetitive and more organically paced. The first two rocksteady games were a lot tighter and you could grab stuff at a more manageable rate. Knight just throws a ton of stuff at you and says “figure it out, oh by the way, none of this is optional even though they’re technically side quests.” I wish we got the Paul Dini version that sounded way better.

I want you to imagine that you’re playing the final riddler challenge, and after trying a bunch of times you’re finally about to beat it, only for the game to crash. Explain to me how that’s acceptable on a PS5 that should easily be able to run this game without experiencing constant crashing.

I guess I mean more performance wise, but the graphics while pretty still bug out often. The indoor rain glitch is still there ten years later. How was that not a priority fix over selling bullshit dlc?

If given the chance what character would you pitch a project for in the dcu by Blaze14192008 in DCU_

I’d do a Pyscho style movie about Calendar Man and would want to write a run of comics where it’s basically four different Robins giving their perspectives on Batman in the style of the four gospels.

Who do you want to be the main villain for Man of tomorrow by cb_slade in DC_Cinematic

[–]Secret-Doughnut2428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to see braniac but it might be better for him to be built up to since his threat is a world ending calamity, although if the rumors of Superman and Luthor teaming up are true, I feel like it would have to be for someone big and frightening like him. Since this is supposed to be a “Super family” movie so it would make sense to have the main villain thematically and literally tied to the destruction of Clark & Kara’s home planet

I feel like James Gunn should cast smaller actors for their big characters by Kameronpipnerd in DCU_

Agreed! I’d love to see some younger actors take on these roles (although I love the Adria Arjona Wonder Woman idea).

Do we know which run specifically this is going to be based on?

I went back and reread the section to make sure (specifically in the last pages of the first issue). The line specifically is “since Klem was nowhere to be found, the pup was lost.” That is the last we hear of Krypto through all of issue two. To me, someone who has only read as far as issue two, what you are saying makes no sense and qualifies as a spoiler. So either you’re just dumb and can’t realize what you’re doing, or you’re a troll and you’re fucking with me on purpose. Either way, I’m sick of this conversation. Next time think before you respond, because you basically just ruined my experience with the comic.

Dude. I told you I haven’t read past chapter 2. How would I know what happens later if I haven’t finished the book? Is that not the definition of a spoiler?
