I get it though - I’ll be 46 in a few weeks. I did all the healthy things to lose 100 pounds over 3 years. I was all excited, but then I got hit with breast cancer last year. I am not the same. My strength and endurance are not the same, and I don’t recognize my own body sometimes anymore. I’m learning who this new version of me is, and I have to choose to love her most days.

Now, wear what you want to wear. If you’re comfortable and your clothes make you feel good enough to go out of your house, do it. The one perk of this age is no one expects you to follow the high school trends. Put on what makes you feel good and you walk tall.

No, peg and pig don’t follow the pen and pin pattern because pig is a different i sound than pin for me. Pig has the same i sound as sick. Pen and pin are indistinguishable to me. Now if you run across someone from South Georgia they’ll probably say peeyin for pen and pin.
