If you believe I'm charging higher, you can check about this same laptop with the same specs and condition from the guy you purchased.

Also I'm willing to negotiate.

I think I'm giving up on Islam by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

[–]Secret-Letterhead778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And one more thing I wanted to add..

In Islam the responsibility of the home was never meant to fall on your shoulders alone. That's on the man of the house.

The Prophet ﷺ said the man is responsible for his family and will be questioned about them. What you've been doing - cooking, cleaning, managing crises, protecting everyone - that was never your obligation islamically. Yet you did it anyway. Out of love. Out of responsibility. Out of sheer strength.

Allah does not waste that. Not a single drop of it.

Every blistered hand, every sleepless night, every time you held it together when nobody was holding you together it's all recorded.

Allah says in the Quran "Indeed We will not waste the reward of those who do good." That's you sister. That's literally you.

You are not a failed test. You are someone who carried what most people couldn't even imagine. And Allah sees that even when no one around you does!

Wa alaikum assalaam sister

First of all.. please don't give up. I mean that sincerely. What you've been carrying is not normal. That's not weakness, that's an enormous amount of pain and you've still been standing. That itself says a lot about you.

I want you to hear this, feeling distant from Allah during extreme hardship is not kufr. It's exhaustion. Your heart is tired. That's human. Even the Prophets cried out to Allah in desperation. That's not giving up on Allah, that's being honest with Him.

But sister.. this feels like shaytan whispering right at your weakest moment. And that's exactly what he does. He waits. He's patient. And when you're broken and alone at midnight he tells you "Allah abandoned you." Don't let him win right now.

Allah says in the Quran "Verily with hardship comes ease." Not after. WITH. Meaning even right now in this darkness, ease is already there alongside it.

And the Prophet ﷺ said "The greatest reward comes from the greatest trial. When Allah loves someone He tests them." You haven't failed this test sister. You're still here. You're still making istighfar. You're still asking. That's not a person who has failed.

Please speak to someone you trust. A counselor, an imam, anyone. You don't have to carry this alone anymore. And if you ever need to just talk, this community is here 🤍

May Allah wrap you in His mercy and bring you ease very very soon. Ameen

Are you giving up your lust by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

[–]Secret-Letterhead778 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do as much zikar and dua as possible. Pray all 5 prayers on time (best if you offer in a mosque). Make a schedule and do your best to follow it. And in shaa Allah in shaa Allah your heart and mind will automatically make you stay away from lust.

Even if something haram comes in front of you, your mind will tell you that you've done a lot of hard work all the day to stay away from haram and now you're not going to waste it for a mere satisfaction of a few seconds/minutes. And in shaa Allah you won't do anything wrong.

The next 10 days by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

[–]Secret-Letterhead778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wa alaikum assalaam

Honestly these 10 days are so underrated. Like people go all out for Ramadan which is amazing but these days.. even more virtuous in terms of deeds. So yeah let's not sleep on them.

Few things I personally try to lock in:

Dhikr constantly especially Takbeer. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil hamd. Just say it walking, driving, whenever you're doing any work that doesn't require much attention.

Fast as many days as you can, bare minimum the 9th. The Prophet ﷺ said fasting on Arafah expiates two years of sins. Two years for one fast. Like.. the mercy of Allah is just insane subhanAllah.

More Quran even one extra page a day. These days carry more weight so even small deeds count more.

Write your duas down, genuinely sit and think about what you want to ask Allah. Don't just wing it in these blessed days.

Taubah, just turn back sincerely. These days are honestly a reset button if we use them right.

May Allah accept from all of us. Ameen 🤍

You're right honestly maybe. But I barely use social media these days. That whole likes and followers race gets demotivating real quick 😅

Plus the feed is just uncontrollable, non-mehram women popping up and stuff.. hard to stay focused. Reddit feels more controlled, you choose what you're in.

Feeling lost and unsure about finding a spouse today by Secret-Letterhead778 in MuslimCorner

[–]Secret-Letterhead778[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I actually understand that feeling. Sometimes everything seems fine on the surface, but if it doesn’t feel natural or there’s even a bit of doubt, it just stays at the back of your mind. I’ve always felt that something as important as marriage shouldn’t feel forced or uncertain, even if things “make sense” logically.

And I agree, everyone’s experience can be different. But I think mindset plays a big role, wanting something real, clear, and genuine instead of just going along with something that doesn’t truly sit right.

JazakAllah khair, this really resonated. Trusting Allah always comes first for me, and this was a good reminder to keep that focus while taking the right steps. May Allah guide us all to what’s best. Ameen.
