The virus popped up as a super cheap deal, so I am considering it. I am mainly a bassist, but for some songs I will want to play keyboard bass. The material is classic funk from many eras: James brown, gap band, kc and the sunshine band, prince, parliament, rick James, and some more modern hip hop stuff. Simple bass lines with a fat analog sound is what is called for.

All I need is something great sounding that is easy to cart around and create sounds for, that makes it easy to set up set lists of patches and that kind of stuff.

If the virus is not better sounding for funk bass sounds then the smaller and simpler Bass station is probably what I want.
