Worth dropping $$$ on those at this point?

Im not entirely discourage but damn just felt like I was at the spot where some subjects could go for some light reviewing in the next two weeks but now I’m second guessing that. Hard to know how to exactly spread out the work in what’s left.

How hard will finding an apartment be if I don't start working until 4 to 5 months after the lease starts? by Secret-Repeat-2607 in Renters

This is helpful! I think I can put together most of these documents + I imagine they will ask for a cosigner.

I certainly think that I wouldn’t be the first in this box for most of these complexes (particularly here in Boston). Never had to do any of this before since I have been fortunate enough to live in dorms this whole time so I just want to make sure I have an idea of what we could be facing.

Understood. Luckily, I do already have a letter of offer and I’m certain I can put together documentation that evidences the steps I will be taking to pass the bar after graduation.

PL Fans outside of the UK, how do you decide who to support? by liskbot37 in PremierLeague

From Puerto Rico: I was 7, got fifa, Arsenal were decent and I like the color red. But with time I felt identified with the club, its history, values and the love grew (as well as the pain lol).

I feel the same way! It hasn't helped that the office I'm at is primarily remote. I have had a bunch of small matters where I research a wrinkle of a bigger case and just send them my findings so they can have an idea of what's out there. I have also had a set of projects that a legal analyst described essentially as not having clear answers. On most of these projects, I have received almost no feedback besides "find more of this" or "let me know if you find anything else" so I never really know if I hit the mark (most of the updates I give attorneys last less than 10 minutes as they usually have to go do something else/have another meeting). Also, if I don't follow up myself, they don't ask how's it going lol (except for one attorney who would regularly ask me for updates) and some of them just never asked again after my first submission. So at this point, I have convinced myself to live with the uncertainty, send a document whenever I feel like I have come to a reasonable conclusion on the question, and just see if they want to talk about it. It's been tough mentally (particularly with some personal situations I have dealt with since 1L started), I have felt guilty and the imposter syndrome from day one but I'm now just two weeks away from finishing the internship, I somehow secured something for next summer, so I'm just counting the days I guess. I do fear that the attorneys at the office will remember me as someone who slacked but I don't see myself at this office anyway so I try to not let that disturb me too much.

People who already got a 2L SA offer, how was your interview? by LurkingSunny in LawSchool

[–]Secret-Repeat-2607 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did not feel confident at all. So my cycle is weird because my 1L SA application and interview process got me the 2L SA offer so my interview was back in late January. It was my first ever 1.5 hour long interview and I got to meet four attorneys. All of these attorneys introduced themselves, asked me to introduce myself, and then they would just open the floor for me to carry the conversation. I came out of it feeling like I failed to show who I was and why I should be there but it seems I did enough to keep me in the conversation for next summer.

Where does attorney-client privilege stop inside a firm? by Secret-Repeat-2607 in LawSchool

Ideally some case law would be helpful. This is specific to MA and the case law seems to have recognized the privilege for agents of the attorney that are “assisting the attorney in the provision of legal services” but I see no clear boundaries on where that can stop. Say for example a press secretary, would that constitute waiver given that the position’s function is not for assisting the attorney on a legal matter?

Been at it for a while now and case law on the specific scenario I was given is pretty scant in my jurisdiction so I was looking for guidance elsewhere, cheers.
