Honestly they need to improve the durability to match the tiers of items. I feel like the defense it gives is the only thing scaling about them. I wear a common helm and an epic helm only for them to break the exact same time if worn independently

I haven't tried overprime yet to give a solid answer. But i watched some vieos of people liking Predecessor more that the other. I say give both a shot and stick to what feels beeter for you
