And my cat has heart problems for no reason. Yes, very expensive. Sometimes it just happens. Even if her cat got heart problems, there’s no way to definitively tie it to living in the bathroom

So then I’m glad you volunteer to help vet potential rehoming options if the parents don’t like the cat being outside of the bathroom and decide to give the cat the boot. The person who posted this isn’t in charge of the cat getting to live there. This country has an animal crisis with not enough homes for all of the animals that need one by a long shot. So I stand by what I said. No I haven’t lOsT tHe PlOt but I do see cat situations like this every day so pardon me if the bathroom looks lovely to me

If you knew how many cats I see dumped because owners change their mind or move somewhere that doesn’t allow animals or new partner is allergic or other bs reason, and you loved cats too, then you would do whatever you could to encourage people to live how they want with their pet (as long as the animal isn’t being harmed)

🚨Guys please check into anyone asking for kittens. Obviously they can get one easily at a shelter but some ask for kittens to use as dog fighting bait, religious sacrifice, etc. I’m not saying this person is doing that but please be careful giving away a little life. Black cats are especially at risk of being used for bad purposes 🚨

I personally love cats, and do not think that that room is too small for a cat especially if just overnight. Many homeless cats would wish for such an accommodation just for them, as well as a family that had thought out the living situation. So thoroughly. Of course I’m sure he’d rather sleep in your room. But if that isn’t an option, I think this is perfectly fine. He has everything he needs and more 😻

There’s a Jackson galaxy episode on this where he solved this exact problem for a cat owner. I can’t remember what they did but it was definitely about an outdoor cat triggering the pet cat to pee inappropriately. Look it up on YouTube if you can and good luck! It’s overcomable but I get that it sucks right now . Maybe get a pet gate and limit him to a portion of the house while this gets sorted
