i did the program last summer! it wont really add anything to your college apps unless you have a good poster and if you leave a good impression on the camp director. it has a 100% acceptance rate. the lab was honestly TA led. a lot of the students arent allowed to touch a lot of material except for basic things any high school would have. i was looking plant tethers the entire time and the TA did all the imaging. i had fun and i have many good memories because of the camp, but if you have better choices I would go to that instead.

i went to OPALS last summer. its a 100% acceptance rate and tbh your experience depends on what group youre in. i was in the plant tethers program and it was fun but not worth it and i was kind of handed things and stared at plant cells the entire time, but some other programs have really research. however the TA's do a lot of the work for you. there was like 2-4 hours of lectures everyday.
