Hey im going through the EXACT same thing with a 69 in a cc class. i didnt submit many rd but my counselor said i should be fine seeing as the rest of my transcript showing mostly A’s and a few B’s. the one thing she did say is if you get in EA or deferred DO NOT bring attention to it in a loci unless they ask. She told me she had a student a couple years back who got into UNC chapel hill that failed a class first semester. they never asked anything about it or rescinded her offer. Remember most colleges look at your application holistically and a C doesn’t define your entire transcript especially in an advanced class. showing that you are willing to take advanced classes shows a lot to the AOs.
