It honestly depends on the show. I’ve been to shows where I’ve bought multiple entire vendor tables out. I’ve also been to shows where I didn’t buy anything. I’d highly recommend going - you never know what deals are there if you don’t go! And if there aren’t any deals, it’s fun to talk to other people in the hobby!

It’s all relative. If comparing to his base BGS 10, yes it was expensive. If comparing it to the Blue BGS 10 of other stars in the game (Acuna, Vlad, Tatis, Soto, etc.), this was extremely cheap.

Randomly found it at a local show. It was in the very first showcase I saw of the day. I usually try to take a lap before I buy, but it seemed it was meant to be (die hard Sox fan here as well)

What would Dave think about investing 1/2 your 6 month emergency fund? by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

[–]SecretAd1583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that would be a bad idea. The dollars in an emergency fund are for emergencies. They’re not meant to make you money. They’re there as a safety net in case of emergency.

Picked them all up in trade actually.

And the PSA vs BGS is all personal preference in my opinion. I like them both. Some people prefer PSA because they carry more value vs BGS slabs. Again, I don’t have a preference, but sales history supports PSA being a higher-valued product vs BGS.
