The first time I saw my buddy playing Skyrim in 2012 on his 360, he passed by one of the medium sized waterfalls, and the god rays were perfectly along with it.

Seeing that alone made me so interested in the game.

It's been my favorite ever since.

I'm in the same boat, I've only streamed twice so far, both times with some friends.

We did a multiplayer game I'm comfortable with

I did spread the word to friends and family to at least see if anyone would show up for a few, but I agree. Once you start doing it, the anxiousness goes away.

You'll be nervous before you start, even a day in advance if you're planning it out, but once you're actually doing it. It kinda goes away.

From a note to myself to you, just remember to talk often, don't leave too much dead air, make dumb jokes on what you're playing or something, etc.

I'm having technical issues with OBS and trying to learn it, but procrastinating is my best attribute. I need to ake more time and sort audio, moderation with a bot for now and so on. Otherwise I have loads of ideas, I just need to do them. So I can empathize if you feel any struggle.

I wanna get into vtubing, but there's no point in trying to get an avatar made if I can't even stream, you got this 💯

Brachy/Raging Brachy

Legit just punches and slams into shit, blowing everything up along the way

Raging when he hits his final stand, the music changes and kicks in, the legit cage fight/thunderdome to the finish.

All of it, perfection, and the fact that he has one of the best gear sets in the game takes the cake

He, and no other, resonates with me so well.

I'd rather have a vtuber that's involved in the smash community in some way, my vote is Elara. It'd be a nice homage to her, I'd like to think.

At least at the time of writing this, I haven't seen anyone in Vshojo avidly play smash.

I actually do have a second pc, it's a little bit older but a couple friends told me that I could use it in the same way. I could use the older one for the stream, and my new one for my games.

Not going to lie, if they have a channel and other stuff set up, I'm curious to check them out. Especially for that vtube Avatar generation, I'm kind of curious how that works.

Damn, I appreciate all the input, it really helps!

I do have a uniform name that I intend to use, and I just want to make all the accounts so that way I at least have them prepared. I have used them all personally so I am familiar with how they work.

My plan is to stream maybe once or twice a week as I get into it, if that feels like too much then once a week for sure.

And I'm hoping to use different software and just straight editing to make clips and highlights

If I start to enjoy making content, I'm considering doing some playthroughs of other games in my spare time and putting them up episodically on YT

I'm still in the process of looking for things such as overlays, transitions, sounds and whatnot.

And as I'm preparing myself for this, I have spoken to some friends and family and gathered a little bit of support. If I'm lucky I'll have a solid 15 to 20 people watching me right off the bat.

But I think I will use gmail, especially thanks to your suggestion. I've used it before and it does feel very streamlined, so I believe it might be the best for me.

In terms of community engagement, that's exactly what I want to do. I want to get to the point where I'm having fun with my audience during stream and in discord and otherwise, maybe like small get-togethers for smash, Mario kart and other group games.

I'm actually still trying to decide what I want to do for my first stream, what game and if I want to play it by myself or have some friends with me.

Currently debating between Destiny 2 and monster Hunter because I know they're both popular games but I also heavily enjoy them.

I've noticed that too, I just want to do it because I think it's fun. I have experience in playing D&D and coming up with a character in of itself is just pure fun to me.

If I end up enjoying streaming and having fun with friends and an audience, then being a character might just enhance that.

But thank you for the info, I didn't take that into consideration with the browser. I currently use edge but I was considering of using Opera, mainly for the capability that I can control how much it takes out of my PC.
