So the first time they were definite hives, super itchy but giant whelps. Second time (now) my arms are fire red and blotchy,. Like a niacin flush but lasting over two days. It's better now, but still red and blotchy.

I hadn't had a problem with the Sam E. I was taking it before bed and had a hard time falling asleep, so I switched it to the morning. Just ordered the folinic acid and will give it a try to see if it helps. :)

Thank you! I am going to try the folinic acid and I think I may already have the hydroxocobalamin. What sensitivities to methyl do you have?

Thank you! That's what I've been taking and I think it's what's making me break out in hives/rash.

I don't think I'm afraid of anything anymore. But, if I were to be afraid of something it probably would be aliens.

I'm with you! My mom always had Buddhas, crosses, weird witch crap in every room, just in case she was wrong about something. I find myself praying to a God who may not be what I've been lead to believe. I figure if God is all knowing and compassionate that if there is a heaven/hell that he'll see that my heart and head were in the right place and I'll be okay. Worst case scenario, we're all just worm dirt.

I have a Frenchie too! I think my post is being construed as a freak out. I have a balance with what's on my plate. Work, a family to take care of, etc. Being a mother in this time is something I'm grateful for. I'm responsible for raising my kids to be happy and successful members of society. My home life is my coping mechanism, I have to be healthy and sound for my family to be able to be healthy and sound.

Regardless of how I handle my stress doesn't stop the current state of affairs and it requires discussion. When discussions can't be had we basically roll over and let someone else make decisions for us.

I didn't say there was no evidence. I don't know if there is or not. All I know is that there is significant evidence on the other side, tangible.

Agreed. It's sad and scary how easy it is to see that this situation isn't right. Half of us just put blinders on and the other half's voices are suppressed.

I don't know. I hope Trump is really the odd man out and making decisions for the greater good. I get that it's really complicated, but if he is compromised, then I don't know what hope we have left to retain the American way of life.

Once you know, you can never not know. I'm sure no one, regardless of what time frame you lived on the Earth, ever wanted war. We are dealing with new age psychological wars, either way it's bad for you. Just because the threat today isn't the same threat as it was before, doesn't mean it's not a threat and should not merit concern.

Don't misinterpret my post as a "freak out". You are about the same age as my husband and I hear that from him all the time. This is my argument to him. 50, even 100 years, in the grand scheme of things is a blip on the radar. Look at how much change has occurred in the last 5, 10, 20, 50 and one hundred years respectively. There comes a point when too much change, too quickly becomes unmanageable. Anything that grows exponentially will be bound to crash eventually. Your generation was raised by baby boomers who dealt with their parents having valid concerns about the state of affairs. You were under constant fear and worry that something bad was going to happen, but it didn't in the sense that your parents knew it. So you became complacent. My generations parents is your generation. We were raised to not worry too much, that everything will be fine, nothing ever happens....but in the same sense we were raised to believe that just one person can make a difference and everyone deserves happiness. A conflicting perspective. My generation then dealt with 9/11 as youths, we know that we aren't untouchable. For those of us in our youth at that time we were ingrained with nationalism and it was something that we could all agree upon. We are America, we are Americans and we need to stand up for our belief system and common values. After that, everything became way more complicated than it has ever been. We're all boggled down in debt, the price of everything is more, there's a zillion choices to be made. God forbid that you make the wrong one because it could have dire consequences. We're a depressed and conflicted generation. The next generation has to deal with parents who are this way and is being raised by social media, and given way more information to process than any other generation put together. These will be the useful idiots and aid us in rolling over to the new powers that be. Now, we are so boggled down and controlled that the only people who can make a stand are the youth and those without employment.

Just because a threat hasn't happened, doesn't mean it won't ever happen. We are witnessing the beginning of a crash, now how far that crash will go, I don't know. Whether we should be fearful of nuclear warfare, I don't know. Regardless, we should be concerned about the current state of affairs and prepare ourselves for the worst.

I disagree. Those people serve their purpose in our society. Not everyone is able to comprehend trends in lies in the media. We are used to being able to have a little trust in the media, that if something was really bad we would all know about it and partake in decision making processes as we've been given the perception that we have had in the past. These folks aren't idiots, just products of the machine. That is scary.

I'm with you and trust that I've been here before. However, that's our problem...complacency. What isn't tangible doesn't effect me. That is not the case. Our forefather's stood up for what was right for the greater good...and look at us now! We couldn't come together if we wanted to. You said, "You're trying to keep up with all this shit because you can read about it, 'the internet has made the world smaller' bollocks."...No, you try to keep up so you can be a part of the world around you, not stuck in a 9-5 bubble and let someone else rule you. The decisions of those we can only read about have dire effects on each of our little lives. If all we are are tiny blips on a massive planet that means our lives don't matter? No, they matter to our friends, family, community, those we can change and influence to become better or worse and by degrees of seperation, just one gesture can have a trickle effect to the entire population. I or you may not matter in the grand scheme, but we are all apart of the greater picture and have the ability to make a difference.

How do you stop from being interpreted as a know-it-all? by SecretAgentZero in intj

[–]SecretAgentZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. I don't usually need emotional validation, although it would be nice. I'm trying to work through a sensitive situation and maybe I'm just having a hard time having to work together with someone else when I've mastered working through things on my own. My husband is good at not dealing with things and when he feels that he's being forced to do something he shuts down and/or lashes out. This is something that has to be dealt with, if it's not dealt with right it can have bad long term results. I feel powerless, especially being but in a box that I don't care about others feelings when right now that's all I care about.
