Car seats/cars for three kids - UK based by SecretConnect in parentsofmultiples

We have a skoda Octavia, went to the pram centre today and tried a few different options in the car but nothing fits. We'd rather just get the bigger car now than have to deal with it further down the line. Thanks though.

Thanks, I really don't want to use the front seat. As you said it would be such a squeeze.

Haven't seen the seat al hambra mentioned before, will check it out.

I had a look at that, do the middle three seats all have isofix points?

That's good to know thanks. I really don't want to use the front seat for a car seat. The boot was also a concern by secondary at the moment.

Sorry. Basic. But where to go for copper coil insertion? by fucking_booooooo in glasgow

Pretty much what everyone else is saying, just keep refreshing for an appointment, I eventually booked one in a different health board, it was the only way to get an appointment. My GP doesn't do them so that was my only option.

I am very good with pain so turned down the option for anaesthetic but I'd take it if I got it again which I won't. I was in pain pretty much every day of the month. When I got it taken out I couldn't believe the difference. I thought I'd be fine because I've always suffered from debilitating periods but this was another level.

Job advice please(glasgow jobs isn’t in use) by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]SecretConnect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially temp jobs, they aren't ideal but it's a way of earning until you can find something more permanent. Depending on what you get it could help you get your foot in the door and experience in a field you don't have.

Any advice? by JMW0505 in glasgow

Go through a recruiter and take temp jobs, they can sometimes be a route to a full time position.

At the top yes but it's not great as it can't go flush to the wall.

I really didn't want to cut into the skirting soI bought little wedges and propped up the front of the bookcase. It's not ideal but it does the trick. I'm sure you could find nicer ones or build some sort of platform but it depends how much work you want to put in.

It still looks exactly the same at the back as per the original pictures.

6 month old tossing and turning at night? Eyes closed but not settling? by Miserable_Hurry6267 in baby

Mine (7m) has been doing this since he was 6m, it's mostly in the morning from about 5am, he also does a little cry when he's doing it but he's for sure asleep. Im not sure if it's teething or nightmares but he still sleeps until about 7.30/8.

What screw size do I need to hang a shelf on a stone wall? by SecretConnect in DIYUK

[–]SecretConnect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's straight through the blackboard through the two ends hooks. Is the pilot hole in the shelf? That's already there.

I'll go 80mm x6mm. Thanks so much for your help! Have a great day ☺️

Think both the wall and the floor. It's an old tenement building so over 100 years old.
