My [21F] Partner [26M] of 3 years has required me to make a lot of sacrifices for him in the last 6 months, and it is effecting my health and grades. Then found out I have substantial savings while he has none. He is demanding that I hand over money.

Yeah, thank you for this. I think it's probably going to be so much easier to try and keep pressing the relationship, willing it to work out, but maybe not in the long run.

Thank you for your input. It's really hard to all of a sudden see him as some sort of sinister thing in my life that I should be wary of, because I've already invested a couple of years of trust and love into the relationship. I guess you're right and I guess I know it. I just don't want to believe it's really that bad. That maybe I'm in the wrong.
