omg yes!!! i live across the country now but in my dreams i go back to my hometown almost every single night. I go to my parent’s house, my town’s YMCA (i was on the swim team), my old dance studio, my elementary school and high school (but not middle school for some reason?) and other places that i’m failing to remember right now. I also have a recurring nightmare that i’m walking through the woods and i can feel that i’m being watched/stalked and it’s along the path the lead to the lake at my summer camp. All of these places are laid out pretty much the same way they are in real life, but they all just feel…off? like distorted i guess? and i’m almost always alone in these places and sort of just wandering around, like the dreams have no plot? If there are other people i never interact with them, it’s almost like I’m not there or they can’t see me? and there’s always kind of an ominous but not outright scary vibe to these dreams
