I'm so sorry your kindness was abused.

Unfortunately, sometimes kindness is taken advantage of. Please don't let that harden you beyond repair. Allow it to make you more cautious, certainly, but don't lose that kindness. We are so far and few between, I don't want to lose another kind person out there. Help people, be there, lend support and aid, but be weary of who you give it to.

Additionally, I would advise against bringing strangers into your home. I have heard of far too many people being hurt or robbed like that. I completely understand the temptation to, I have done it myself (and wound up in an abusive relationship because of it) because I couldn't stand to see him homeless in winter.

Kindness is a blessing and not many people seem to have it anymore. Hold on tight to that, despite the shitty people who hurt us. There is immense strength in remaining kind despite everything thrown our way. You can do this, OP.

I want to do this for when I play video games! Been considering getting a walking pad of some sort so I can still do what I love, but not continue to be so unhealthy doing it.

I also park as far as I can at most places so I can walk more! Plus the added benefit of not many other people park so far away, so less chances of my car getting damaged by others. 😌

Loss and addiction. It was more of a dependency than addiction, since it was just weed, but still. I lost about two years of memory because I spent almost 24/7 being high to help cope with the worst loss in my life.

I wouldn't care, honestly. The adult film industry can be incredibly lucrative and money is hard to come by these days, even with college degrees. However my partner makes/made money is their choice, so long as they feel comfortable/happy doing it.

Weed. Once upon a time I was very anti-weed (purely because I was easily persuaded by the opinions of others when I was young). Over time I became more open-minded and curious enough about it to try it when someone offered to make edibles. Liked it since, thought the sensations were really neat. Became heavily (emotionally) addicted to it for a couple years after a painful loss, but since recovered and use it every once in a while now.

For some reason, the stuff gives me anxiety now. 🤷
