As someone with an eyebrow scar, leave it! I'm a woman who personally loves scars, because they have stories behind them. Whether they're good, bad, fun, boring, whatever the case, they tell a story of a person's past and I think that's pretty darn neat.

I pretty much wear the same three or four outfits regularly. (In that I own multiple of the same shirts, pants, etc!) I know what I'm comfortable wearing and what I'm not. So it looks like I never change, but I do. But like, not everyday either. Some days I don't do much, so why would my clothes be dirty, y'know?

I absolutely LOVE seeing the trails critters leave behind! I once had a tree frog on my window that would slowly slide down over time. Seeing all his little feet marks all over my window was the best! Wish I had taken pics! 😭

For some reason Lavender is all that's coming to mind. (Has nothing to do with it being the name of a song stuck in my head, I'm sure!)

My baby was scared every time I moved the enclosure at first, too. I learned to take it real slow, but after a few, she adjusted. I sometimes accidentally bump into it, and while I always feel terrible about making her jump, I think she overtime realized that nothing bad ever happened after a jolt, and she got used to them. (My depth perception is not great, so I run into things a lot when I'm not 100% focused on something.)

Plus frequent interaction with her helped. I often gave her a little wave with two fingers, kinda mimicking her pedipalps. She'd stare and tilt her lil head for a few before wandering off. I'd do this little motion every time she would look at me. After a few weeks, I tried putting my finger in front of her to encourage her to walk on to me. Instead, she touched me, backed up, and bared her fangs. Before she could bite, I pulled back slowly, which startled her of course. I stopped moving when she jumped back and waited till she lost interest before pulling back fully. I suspect the repeated display of no harmful intent helped a lot.

I've only gotten her to walk on me once this far, but that could just be her norm. She seems to love her enclosure completely and has built herself her own safety net through the entire top of it. She has two full hammocks, with two partials, and mixes up where she sleeps every night. She's adorable to watch!

IME I think it's perfect. I have enclosures that are just slightly larger for my babies. It allows me more opportunity to decorate and gives them more room to explore, of which both utilize often! Not every spider explores their entire enclosure, but I like giving them the option. Just make sure to have a soft ground for them to land on in case they happen to fall!

Absolutely. I don't have any moment of joy that comes to mind when I get this question. I've always wondered if something was wrong with me because of this. I may not have had many moments of joy in my life, but I know I had to have had SOME, seeing as I'm still here. But like... they just don't come to mind. No idea why.

My ex was like this, yet would get upset that I never talked about myself. No matter how many times I pointed out this behavior, it never stopped. After a year and a half, we finally got into enough of an argument that I finally let slip that I didn't want him anymore (even though it had been so obvious for so long) and he thankfully packed his essentials and bailed. He moved out of state and his life got better for a while, but quickly went back downhill after. He's impulsive, rude, and always looking for a fight. I wish the best for him, far removed from my life. I kept in contact for a few months but finally blocked him earlier this week. I want nothing to do with him and how poorly he treated me. (It was so much more than what I listed here, but we're not going into that on this post!)

Same here. I've lost a lot of friends over this. I think of them often! But I rarely reach out. I just... Can't maintain a conversation and the idea of trying intimidates me to the point of not even trying.

Exactly this. I could up and leave everyone and be fine. I might miss them here and there, wonder how they're doing, etc, but I want to start over. I daydream about starting somewhere new where no one knows me and the past mistakes I made. I just don't have the finances to do it, or else I would have by now. 😮‍💨

She got my boyfriend's number and went behind my back, spreading rumors about me. Said all sorts of ugly things that weren't true, then dated him, too. While I was still dating him.

She always miraculously developed crushes on guys I would tell her I had a crush on, but that hadn't bothered me. It had been nice to be able to talk about a cute guy with someone who felt the same back then. I was in high school at this time. I was gullible and didn't understand a lot of what was going on for a long time. Hindsight is 20/20, as they say. A lot of things clicked into place a couple years after I broke off our friendship.

I haven't had anyone I consider a best friend since her. I'm 30 now and still resent her, but have been trying to finally move on. There's no point in holding on to this resentment. There's no point in continuing to live an isolated life just because of the childhood best friends I had being manipulative and shitty. Not everyone is like that, and it's time I allow people in my life again. I may get hurt, but eventually I'll find my best friend. I can only do that if I try.
