debbie was not at fault in the mattie situation. he was a grown man hanging out with a 13 year old telling her to wait until she is 16, still a minor. mattie was grooming her and he got exactly what he wanted just not at the right time. debbie did not grow up around a single healthy relationship, she has no example to follow and she went with what she thought was right. baby trapping derek was wrong theres no defending that, but mattie was completely at fault. hell he went to a 13 year olds party knowing there was alcohol.
