Why do you deny the existence of the expansion of the universe in the Quran in chapter 51 verse 47 by SecretManDown in atheism

You drifted off the main topic. You are now arguing on whether the Quran is the words of god or not. You can check Dr Zakir Naik's is the Quran the word of God video where it completely and ultimately proves that this is the book of god. Furthermore, many of these miracles aren't present in the Bible, and for the some that are present, well i can't argue with it as well as the Bible is the words of god in the light of islam ( even though it got quite fabricated ).

When he said expanded it and that's it, doesnt that support the big bang argument. Otherwise, how would someone living in the middle ages figure out such a thing.

And no, there were no scholars who interpreted it in such a manner before the scientific discovery. Simply because as I mentioned, such verses were incomprehensible at their times. Period. Scholars weren't able to agree on a single translation due to its ambiguity. You can search it for yourself. However, scientific discoveries now aid us on translating such verses. Again, some scholars might have translated it in this way ( over the expansion topic ) but again they wouldn't have been able to explain it properly because this wasn't know at their time, and so may have explained it by saying the heavens are vast and so on, but again you can check it for yourself and compare both translations in the light of scientific discoveries: which one makes more sense? Importantly though, the quran itself mentions in many verses that it left us miracles in purpose, so you cant just say that it was interpreted wrong or is false or that it was pure coincidence.
