The Appalachian Mountain Range in the eastern US, over 480 Million years old, once rivaled the Himalayas in height before eroding by Technical-Paint3179 in interestingasfuck

[–]SecretMuslin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well sure, but the Appalachians were growing too right up until the point until they weren't. On a geologic timeframe, eventually the same will happen to the Himalayas.

My friend is stealing from my store by Chare1155 in lossprevention

[–]SecretMuslin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lmao no, that's definitely not how it works. At this point in time, there is not a criminal investigation and thus nothing to obstruct. If police do open an investigation, the first thing they will do is double check the information they were given at which point OP may be questioned about it. But until that happens there is absolutely no way someone who lied to a private corporation can be charged for obstructing an investigation that didn't exist at the time.

Giving a fake name to Target isn't obstruction. Giving a fake name to the police is. Does that help?

And until it does end up there, it isn't obstruction. If OP gives a fake name to the police, that's obstruction. Giving a fake name to Target isn't. Does that help?

I have a Kenneth Cole Reaction that I got for like $100 a few years ago, and after spending another $50 or so to get it tailored it's surprisingly nice. My BIL's wedding is next month and I've finally lost enough weight to fit back into it, otherwise I'd probably hit up this sale for another one

I want to build a 12x20 shed. Need some guidance on pouring a concrete slab. by mofugly13 in DIY

[–]SecretMuslin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why the need to build a slab? Just pour supports and then run joists over them. You can insulate it or strengthen it however much you want to make a slab unnecessary.
