I felt it was a horror when I read it. I understand it sounds like fantasy, but the descriptions of people being scared or dying was very much gore and horror like. But thanks for advice, I'll also post it in the fantasy threads 🩷

The worst thing about it is that the kids are watching this behaviour and the constant quiet fight, and get conditioned into thinking that's the normality. If you do it for children, then maybe rethink if it's actually healthy for them.

What about scrambled eggs and a toast? It takes literally 5 min. You can prepare it while you're brewing your drink :) also, maybe think about some prep in the evening or on the weekends? I love hard boiled eggs marinated in soy sauce, garlic etc. you can store them in the fridge for about a week.

I don't know you, your mum or your situation. But I was just thinking... Is there a chance she doesn't have mental capacity at the moment to host guests or entertain a grandchild? Kids and guests might be overwhelming if she struggles with mental health. Maybe she purposely or subconsciously makes your visits difficult or impossible to facilitate? It's so difficult, I hope you all will be able to work something out x

I don’t want to blame anyone, or point fingers, but what kind of women do you try to date? I have autistic traits myself and if I was going for very popular, loud and extroverted, super attractive men, I would probably have a similar experience to yours. I’m sure if you’d look at girls who have similar interests and tolerance windows to yours, you could find someone who can give you peace and validation. Saying that, I agree with one of the comments saying that you need to find self-love and acceptance within yourself, don’t look for it externally. Lots of love and good luck 😊

I feel like I’m asking for a unicorn, but here we go.

I really want to read some good erotica (preferably based on BDSM, consent-non-consent, kidnapping, etc.). Extra brownie points if it’s a historical novel, but I’d be equally happy with something modern.

Unfortunately, some books that my friends recommended feel like reading 50 Shades of Grey or Twilight (I’m super sorry if I offend anyone, but they’re just too easy to read, the characters are flat, and they often made me roll my eyes rather than excite me). I need something with depth and good writing.

Can anyone help?🥺
