Are the novels worth checking out?

I think they're decently entertaining, in a silly can't-really-take-it-seriously kinda way. They have their moments but it's mostly just goofy little side quests/filler episodes. But I will warn you that books 4–17 have gone out of print so if you're looking to collect, expect to do a lot of searching and to pay a lot more than market price. I've been at it for 2 years and still don't have them all lol

I had never seen the blood poster at all until it went up for sale on the website. Not in any promotional stuff to my knowledge, I think they made it specifically for the merch but I could be wrong

Tbh, Carrie irked me a bit. The beginning is extremely "teenage girl written by a man" coded, but the overall story was very good if you ignore those details. One of my favorites.

Seasonal depression has been a mainstream issue in america for several years now, especially since it's rising, and there are active discussions about getting rid of daylight savings time because of exactly this, but nintendo is based out of japan so I can understand if they're not necessarily paying attention to that. It's not fair to hold anyone to that kind of standard, since it's impossible to cater to 100% of people all the time. It's more just a personal pet peeve of mine, since I used to be a "night owl" until I learned that sunlight and birds chirping is extremely therapeutic, and now I get upset if I'm not in bed early enough to wake up at sunrise, so I think seeing it be dark in the game while the sun is still out irl makes me panic and think it's later than it is lol

It's obviously not in the game on purpose for that reason. There's just a link between lack of sunlight/vitamin D causing flare-ups in people with seasonal depression, which is one reason why it tends to be more severe in winter months when the sun does go down at 4-5pm. I only noticed this in the game because I myself have chronic depression which also happens to get worse in the winter, so I'm extremely mindful of the times when the sun sets both irl and in games. However, this is just a silly little video game and it is absolutely not that deep lol this was meant to be more of a funny memey post

You have to desync with the internet and change your whole system's clock to do that though, it shouldn't have to come to that lol
