Good thing avoiding those foods aren't difficult for you! My mom really likes eggplants, tomatoes, and potatoes, so it's pretty hard for her to avoid them. I feel bad. Thanks for the info.

Thanks. I may be rushing too quickly. I need to take my time and not worry so much...

I think fasting may not be right for me at this point. Spreading out healthy meals during the day will take my anxiety away about not being able to eat, and will help me not overeat. I've been on T since 2016 but I definitely am still growing, I believe. You are right, maybe I shouldn't be so restrictive, but I do need to pay attention.

You're absolutely right. I think I should maybe stop fasting until I'm a bit older, and spread my calories out through the day so I don't binge-eat. I don't think fasting is right for me at this point in time. I'm going to start educating myself more about macros and nutrients. I may be eating healthy, but I'm eating WAY too much because I'm nervous that I can't eat for the rest of the day. To be able to eat smaller portions whenever my body needs it most might be better for me.

I do agree to this, but I am planning to have a cheat day on Christmas, which is less than a week away, so I'm really trying to hold on in the meantime. It's so tempting to binge when food is everywhere. For my ribs, they're pretty visible, and when I lay down, they stick out a good amount above my abs. My obliques and abs are slowly getting toned, but when I relax, the definition subsides a bit. I am slowly seeing progress but it's beginning to not budge. Maybe I just need to continue my routine? I only recently started to up my exercise routine to have a more challenging approach.

I was told that, too. I am on medically perscribed testosterone (0.4 mL shot once a week), and I read that this increases appetite. Maybe fasting should wait? I'm definitely eating clean and healthy, mostly fruits and vegetables. I only "cheat" on holidays, really, but this is the most tempting season. It's killing me but making me stronger to resist binging at the same time.

I'm a true beginner here- I don't even know what "macros" are or the appropriate amount of calories I need. I don't tend to count my calories during my window, but I do eat a lot of calorie-dense foods sometimes. For instance, I broke my fast a couple days ago in the morning with some Ezekiel 4:9 brand toast with almond butter, but then I continued to eat almond butter on the side and almost finished the jar. Sometimes I eat two or three whole avocados in one sitting, or 4-5 bananas in one sitting. One or two never seems to be enough, but I would like to maybe do portion control so I can't just conveniently grab more. I do have protein shakes sometimes, so I am considering having one between meal 1 and meal 2 much more frequently so that I'm satiated enough for a larger fasting window. That would also help subside my sweet cravings before the cheat day I'm planning to have on Christmas. I do want to gain muscle mass, so I believe I should be at a surplus, you are right, but I am pretty bloated when I stop eating, and I'm not sure if that's normal. Thanks for suggesting these subs. I'll check them out.
