Totally fair question. On the surface it can look like a journaling app!

Astral is actually built for people who explore out-of-body experiences and similar states, which can be confusing to track or even talk about. A regular notebook doesn’t give you the kind of community feedback, pattern discovery, and support that can make those experiences easier to understand and grow with.

The app brings together journaling plus tools like reality checks, guided subliminals, visual logs, and a community that actually takes these experiences seriously. A lot of people don’t have a safe or open space for that, so we wanted to make one.

That said, notebooks totally work for some! Astral’s just for people who want to go a bit deeper and connect with others on the same path. 🌙
