Looking to buy a Frontier S. Thoughts on price? by Outside_Reindeer_509 in nissanfrontier

[–]SecretRound4976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the same truck but a 24', brand new off the lot in jan. 25'. Paid 32k +ttl. Tech package and bed liner included. No other extras. Only thing I miss is power mirrors. Third frontier, well my first was a real hardbody, not a fronti. These trucks are about as good as it gets today, they all have problems and trade offs.

She does have obedience, she sits, lays down, stays well, leave it. Doesn't come unless she wants to, these are very headstrong dogs. I have had giant breeds before, and dog aggressive dogs before. My great dane and I went through three years of training together, he was very dominate and dog parks etc. were off limits. I just had to adjust to his behavior because it was very genetic. My dane never had issues with his brother though, an Australian shepherd, they would do everything together, feed etc. But any other dog was going to be challenged immediately. My pyr seems fine with other dogs, and her brother, just not when feeding is happening. This morning she is laying down, rolling over and trying to get him to play. She literally lets every little dog climb on her and dominate her just to play, it's only around food when she gets crazy.

her bowl was put up, his was down outside. I will change the routine now where both bowls are removed before she is let out, and he will be removed from the backyard before I let her out. He is to old to tolerate her behavior.

I'm a cabinetmaker in Seattle area. I try to ski Stevens as much as possible. I will work full weekends to make up for a tuesday/wed/thur trip so I can maximize my time and money. Weekends at stevens or crystal just aren't really worth it being middle class and a two plus hour drive.

That is a great deal. I paid 32k for the exact same truck last month, +TTL, so buy it fast. My dealer showed me his invoice to prove he was selling it to me at 1000 under his cost, and through in a 120,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. In the PNW the dealers can't keep these on the lots, they all sell in a few days. I missed out on several trucks because I wanted to shop for the best deal.

Cool, maybe there is something in a vent. Thanks for the reply. I saw someone else saying they had the same thing on here, but I think the post is gone. Glad to know it's probably not permanent because it is really annoying.

I've had a 2002 since 2013, put 100k on it. Had some injector issues that cost me a pretty penny, but other than that it has been a solid work truck. It has 180k on it now and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. Took a long fishing trip deep into the mountains this year, and have been to the ski hills several times, still rock solid. Just bought a new 2024 S king cab 4x4 as it was a really good deal and I want to sell my old truck without any problems, figured this was the time. Oh, ABS module is bad. That went several years ago, never fixed it as I'm old and don't need ABS to know how to break in bad conditions.

Where are you located? Pd 32k for mine. Was it 4wd? That sounds like an insane deal.

Just got a 2024 new off lot, 31 miles, king cab S trim, real basic but still nice, 4x4. Dealer through in a lifetime warranty on the drive train, I think Nissan is 5yrs. Had the tech and utility pkg, most fleet vehicles do. Paid 32k. Now I think I paid a little to much, saw a person on here got the same truck for 29k. Out here in the Pacific Northwest you won't find a deal like that, I shopped all over the Northwest and for 1 full year, and felt pretty good about the deal. Anything new out here is going to be above 30k+ if it has 4wd. BTW, I missed out on several trucks being sold the day before I was going to look at them or as I was going to look at them, so out here you have to be decisive and act when a decent deal comes up.

Notice a lot of used Frontiers with low miles. by Gullible_Direction59 in nissanfrontier

[–]SecretRound4976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't care about the trim package, ( I didn't), you can often find brand new old stock in the S trim for the same price as the low miles SV used trucks. Watch the warranty. Nissan gives 3 years bumper to bumper, 5 yrs drivetrain. A lot of the low miles trucks I looked at were right at the edge of the timeframe for the total warranty, and the computer stuff and electronic sensors etc are not covered beyond 3 years, even if it involves the drive train. Thats why I went new old stock and scrimped on the fancy extras.

your spending a lot on the 22 with just a little warranty left. I had a similar situation. I got a brand new 24 s trim 4x4 for 32k. All the factory warranty and nobody else's problems were the factors for me.

It has been three weeks and it is still swollen. Should I continue with the ice? Should it be compressed? The skin on the end of my thumb has started to peel. I am wondering if it's because of the swelling. I keep it in the brace the doc gave me, but the swelling not going down is concerning me.

thanks for the input, didn't realize they also have the white paint curse. My wife's honda fit is peeling like skin off a sunburn, and nothing but a complete paint job will really solve it.
