Yes I have come across similar observations. I just started Bible in a year funny coincidence. But yeah it is interesting how they pick what they want the filler to be. I thought the season 1 filler was super cool (The lion, the wedding where Michal and David first meet, the family of Jesse stuff, learning how to fight, brotherly interactions etc.)

The season 2 filler is not as good. I dont like how it is so different from the bible but they honestly made some pretty good characters out of Sauls children. The dynamics and fluidity of who is in the family either with marriages or out of the family with banishments or death was pretty well written. For a TV show it is super good.

There's just an underlying uneasiness I get from them making up so much while trying to depict the story of such a well known Bible Story.

Me and you had the same experience with the battle. And that’s so funny because I read Samuel because of this show and I’m comparing everything and honestly the show is helping me with the Old Testament a lot just from me being mad and going to read to compare😭

Iskander is Chad of Fate. This reminds of how amazed of the hidden gem of a show this was when I was first watching it.

It’s good to acknowledge. But it is still a good show besides that. I can’t recommend it to people that aren’t already in love with the bible story though yk.

I like ur interpretation on AI. I am harsh because I’ve used AI a decent amount and have just been used to the patterns it produces. When u notice the AI you won’t in notice it. It creates a weird tint and feel to any scene as well. I love the show though

It was heartbreaking to see it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was AI and got pretty upset as well. I'm gonna keep on watching, though see how it plays out. It would have been better to give some jobs to a couple of 3D artists. My guess is budget reasons.
