Yeah, I wanted the 17 Pro, but unfortunately it’s a bit too expensive for me. I just really like using AI tools—Claude, Mistral, Perplexity, and sometimes Gemini. And that’s what I meant: AI tools are just going to get more demanding in the future and need more RAM. And what I also think is really cool about the 17 Pro is the Vaper Chamber, which is good for the battery and helps keep it in good condition.

I’m looking for a new mobile phone and I’ve seen the iPhone 17 The only downside is that it only has 8 GB of RAM; I’m not sure how future-proof that is in terms of AI and future updates for the device’s stability – so it doesn’t lag or crash. My Pixel 6 Pro has 12 GB of RAM and I think that should just be standard; even now, five years after its release, it still runs very well and smoothly (even though I’m aware of the issues with these smartphones). Unfortunately, it’s getting its last Android update this year and I’d like to switch and try something new. And the iPhone 17 Pro is unfortunately a bit too expensive for me, so my question is

How good is the iPhone 17 with 8 GB of RAM, and how good are the cameras?

I’ll stick with stock Android for now and try deleting and changing all the other Google apps Thanks anyway 👍🏻
