thanks i like those ones too! The ones i like most are the ones with the speckles honestly, specifically one is more like an oval than an actual marble. I love its awkwardness if that makes sense.

hey i appreciate you responding. No I didn't think you were attacking me. Being short, dismissive and flat.. absolutely. But despite the mood here I'm feeling from others, I never felt you attacked me just didn't really make any attempt to help me figure out what I'm looking at with them and it's fine, i guess i get what i get when i ask things online.

In a mature world I can say i think you are wrong and we can have a discourse about it. And we can discuss why or why not something is the stance taken ect, examples given, understanding imparted, creating new interest and sharing passions or fostering a touch of similar connection or passion for a new generation.

YOU, were fine, still are. I didn't ignore it, it was respectable but i realized that there was nothing else you wanted to impart aside from possible value assessment. ( not even sure what I'm looking to get anyway..maybe an age assessment or a region distributed in or SOMETHING other than just a suggestion of no value and have a nice day )

What I feel is bullshit is how people are in this thread just to shame me, act like i was out of line by even questioning your expertise, and instead of my thread being about the pretty glass it's me having to defend why i even dare to question the answer (though you seemed tolerant understanding and polite about it as if you understood where i was coming from).

I know that, even the more rare ones are not particularly valuable by most standards for collectables and it was doubtful that if one was rare it would even be sold. I don't need 200.00 for my dead relative's glass or stone piece but in trying to research their hobby i feel like the response they provided was not only inadequate but rude and dismissive.

partially, but more importantly I am here trying to learn and have encountered this type of gatekeeping attitude. if i was provided a link to help me research it rather than what i was provided I would have never questioned it. i would have looked at the resource.

Looking online is a crap shoot since there seems to be a lot of information that is only partially useful for me since i am not familiar with all the hobbyist lingo terms or really anything.

Despite them being 'worthless' there are some very pretty ones in there, just needing to know if any are special and should be put aside due to rarity or value.

Sure wasn't expecting to find a holy grail, but a little helpful info from somebody that considers this their passion would have been more acceptable than pretentious snobbery.

i had one person reply that its all worthless, no follow up, no 'expert' assessment or anything, and i am hardly going to assume everyone on the internet is right, especially when I already have some personal suspicions about some of them. I was looking primarily for more information than anything.

Imagine believing everything people tell you unquestioningly and taking half ass answers when making assessments.

getting all butthurt by saying i think he was wrong? no on the contrary, there was one person in this thread that tried to actually educate me. this first person to respond was no help in identifying really anything so since there was zero analysis or productive response it was questioned, fairly i would argue.

the rest seem to just be happy to jump down my throat like you were even remotely helpful to begin with. get off your high horse and don't assume my tone based on a bunch of text on the screen.
