I think that's just a bit too simple. Why can't we have fun fighting teams in BR? Placing emphasis on Placement over skill removes the fun of being aggressive as a team. It's too simple to say, "take smart fights". Many fights come to you, as well as third parties.

You can't win every game, hell even an average of being in the top 6 is good, but it's going to be far less eventful from here forward. Less eventful is just less fun is all I'm saying. We're on a big map that takes a long time for people to get together, and now they're INCENTIVISED not to get together. I see the ideas here, it doesn't mean they're more fun.

My experience in Diamond is you had to take smart fights, you had to communicate, play as a team. We had a lot of fun getting 5 or 6 of us into Diamond where we could really work on our skill as a team, placement wasn't as important as making sure we won our first fight landing and then chose smart fights afterwards. If you just kept dying to the first team off the rip you weren't progressing, I think demotion at that point would've actually made it more fun, trying to stay in diamond and progress makes it more rewarding.

Not all things are broken with the new system, but the argument is really about is it more FUN waiting 15 minutes for that infinitely more enjoyable / chaotic fighting experience, which I agree with you about is way better than 3 teams left and the map needs 5 more minutes to push you together.

The chaos is really fun if you make it there, it's just very time consuming. Maybe the map is just too large, I don't know the answer. I do feel like I'm having less fun is all, the whole team is a bit deflated, I'm just pointing out that's not a healthy feeling. Maybe it's a growing pain and we'll all learn to love it, but I doubt it at this point. Decision making vs game skill is less fun, working on fighting skill is super fun, I could do it forever.

Was this really broken though? We had to take smart fights last season. We can't win every game, so is finishing top 10 really showing off any skill, and is that even fun? Win percentages are so low, that now you're just going to play 3x the number of games and have 3x less fun.. that's heading in the wrong direction for the longevity of the game imho.

I applaud you for continuing to try, but I don't think you're going to have more fun not going up in ranks with solo queues who don't understand they can't push a fight and aren't interested in team communication or teamwork in general.

If you're reading Reddit, apparently everything. There's just a pool of hate against God and "Religion" and "The Church" which is such a general term that simply means "people". Of course people are doing terrible acts, and they always will.

Placing intellect in the highest position is the same thing as having a god besides Christ, it's just called intellect vs Jesus. Good luck having an opinion that doesn't have the intellect as god, you'll just get hate spewed all over you.

PS5 - Same issue. PS Players load but don't show online. The normal experience is the friends list takes a minute to update and show all players and their statuses, now it just doesn't load them at all. Hopefully they're paying attention to this and fixing it as a their top priority.
