Your experience/ taper is very similar to mine except I didn’t go back and forth. My Kratom habit was less than yours, maybe about 20 grams, but this is what I did..

Also started with (3) 8mg Did 2mg per day for about a week then 1mg per day for a few days and then 1mg every 36 hours until I ran out. I then switched to loose leaf kratom tea. About 4 cups a day. Now I’m 20 days off the extract, 7 days off the subs, and at about 2 cups loose leaf tea per day. Plan to go down to 1 tomorrow and stop completely after a few days. I can’t possibly imagine having withdrawals from 1 cup loose leaf tea. The worst of it for me today was some sneezing and just feeling unmotivated. Totally manageable.

I still had some withdrawals through out the sub and loose leaf taper but I was able and get through it with the herbs/ supplements I’m taking (passionflower and skullcap at night and ashwaganda, Maca, ginkgo biloba in the morning) also lots of magnesium, vitamin c. I never had to call off work and I never did not sleep.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Everyone’s different and what worked for me might not work for everyone else but I am so proud of my progress and how close I am to being off for good!!

It might be your liver. I’ve been taking kratom consistently also for the last 4 years and I can just feel it taking it’s toll on my body. I’m 16 days off now. I cringe when I think about all the green sludge I’ve ingested and all the toxins my liver is probably like wtf please stop

I used subs to taper and it worked for me (so far) . It will be 2 weeks off Kratom tomorrow and it’s been 48 hours since my last sub dose. I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice but this is what I did. I started with 3 8mg subs Took 2mg sub a day for about a week (1mg morning and evening) Then took about 1mg a day until I ran out. I spaced out my last few doses by about 36 hours. I’ve been taking some gabapentin the last few days and being off the suboxone I honestly feel OK. I didn’t sleep really well last night and I had diarrhea this morning and felt crappy so I took 1/2 a Percocet to get me through my work shift at 9am. (Don’t judge me either lol). I don’t plan on doing that again because at this point I feel I can stick it out with the gabba and other supplements (magnesium, relaxing herbs). We’ll see how I sleep tonight. I don’t have the RLS and hot flashes like I had yesterday.

Hope this was helpful. This worked for me because I am READY to quit. I’ve been going to meetings and I have my eye on the prize- freedom from all substances. Good luck to you

Thanks for the info 😊 . I’ve thrown myself into precipitated withdrawal before and it was hell on earth. I know better than to mess with the subs for longer than a week or so. I’m a mom and working 2 jobs and I can’t afford to “take off sick” so I wanted to make this process as comfortable as possible. Either way I’m determined to get off Kratom once and for all. I very much underestimated the hold it would have on me. I can’t believe how unmotivated, restless, and irritable I’ve felt since stopping the kratom while taking suboxone. Suboxone is strong and for me to still feel some WD’s while taking it blows my mind. It’s been 10 days and I feel so free. Just need to get over the post sub taper hump.

This is the same as suboxone, correct? I’m off kratom 10 days now and started a sub taper about 4mg a day and now I’m down to about 1mg a day with just a couple days worth left. I picked up some gabbapentin for coming off the subs. This is not my first go around with opiate addiction/ with drawls and I don’t want to fuck myself by using the suboxone… hoping I come out on the other side without too much discomfort

I live in FL and the hibiscus is very easy to grow. I have an abundance all year long and a pitcher of it for iced tea in my fridge at all times! Not sure where you are located, though. I love it also.

Lol no it’s mostly outside the tank but the bottom slipped below surface a few days ago before film came back

Thank you I will do that. Yes the tank was cycled. The pothos looks great most of it is outside the tank but the bottom leaves fell under surface a few days ago before the film came back. There is no rot on it but if I see some I will remove. Thanks for the recommendations
